Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOlsten Staffing is assisting a well-established company located in Florence County SC in the search for an experienced and eager Demand Planner. The Demand Planner is a key role that ensures the company meets customers demand efficiently. As the Demand planner you will oversee the demand planning process and forecast future customer needs.Salary Range:
90K-120K based on experience.
Responsibilities:
• Create and update statistical baseline sales forecast monthly for a 24-month planning horizon.
• Develop and implement forecasting models that consider historical sales data, industry trends, marketing initiatives, and other relevant factors.
• Work with top customers and the sales organization directly for demand insights.
• Lead and support the monthly consensus sales forecast process by working with sales, marketing, production, and finance teams.
• Work with all levels and functions within the company to collaborate on the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or surpluses.
• Develop and recommend production schedules, purchasing plans, and inventory levels.
• Develop and manage the long-range sales forecast.
• Communicate demand forecasts and plans to internal stakeholders.
• Support the research and implementation of new demand planning tools.
• Support the organization on ad hoc projects by assisting with data research and quantitative analysis.
• Identify and mitigate risk associated with demand fluctuations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest demand planning trends and technologies.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 years of demand planning experience or more.
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with Demand Planning Software.
• Business reporting/data gathering software experience.
• Experience in the Manufacturing & Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing forecasting models

Pay Details: $43.27 to $57.69 per hour
