- Operate a Sandblast booth and able to perform Sandblast duties of all types of parts.
- Tape and prep parts for painting/coating.
- Roll racks in & out of a coating oven.
- Remove tape and clean up parts to prepare for shipment.
- Interpret and follow work orders in an efficient manner within the designed time frame of production.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload material safely and properly for production of designated parts.
- Perform inspections at frequency, utilizing measurement tools, to ensure 100% quality of finished parts.
- Request assistance of the maintenance services group whenever a non-conforming function or status of a machine is observed.
- Have the ability and aptitude to make minor mechanical adjustments as needed.
- Ensure personal safety and that of team members in the area; immediately reporting unsafe conditions to a leader; take action to prevent accidents and injuries; reporting malfunctions of equipment and deficiencies in process.
- Learn and know Custom Pipe policies and procedures, conducting oneself in a positive and professional manner, promoting team unity and continuity.
- Willing to cross-train in other operational capacities within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- High school diploma or GED required. Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of diploma or GED.
- Read, write, add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use direct-reading and measuring devices.
- Good manual dexterity, vision, hearing, eye-hand coordination and be physically capable of performing heavy work.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area, responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
- Enforce good health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Be aware of safety rules and environmental regulations and put them into practice in the plant.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Prior painting/coating experience is highly desired.
- Operate a Sandblast booth is highly preferred but will train if necessary.
- Operate a forklift is highly preferred but will train if necessary.
- Must be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.
- All candidates are subject to background checks and drug testing.
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug testing is required.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

- Vacation and sick pay accrual can be used once eligible.
Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
