What You’ll Do:

 

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings and models using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) based on sketches and design information.
  • Apply your knowledge of design standards and drafting practices to complete high-quality assignments.
  • Collaborate closely with Structural Engineers, Designers, BIM/CAD Technicians, and Project Managers to meet project needs.
  • Coordinate and implement BIM technologies at the project level, ensuring models align with internal and client-specific standards.
  • Provide production support for BIM projects, including setup, parametric family development, and project deliverables (training provided).
  • Maintain accuracy and ensure structural requirements are met throughout all phases of project development.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • An associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • At least 5 years of experience in structural drafting/design for building or infrastructure projects. Industrial experience is ideal.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles, materials (steel, concrete, wood), and construction methods.
  • Attention to detail and a proven ability to produce precise, high-quality drawings.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, fellow Designers, and project teams.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliverables while meeting deadlines.
