Job Title: Psychologist Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Psychologist Supervisor. As the Psychologist Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading a dedicated team focused on implementing evidence-based practices. Reporting directly to the unit manager, you will be responsible for providing supervision and consultation to staff, advising leadership on the selection of evidence-based practices, managing grants and contracts, assisting with appeals, developing surveys, ensuring compliance with division/department and other regulatory/accrediting standards, and driving continuous quality improvement activities. Additionally, you will oversee the collection and reporting of data related to unit operations and represent the unit on various Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services divisional, Departmental, and external committees.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a Delaware Psychologist license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of staff supervision acquired through coursework, academic training, employer-provided training, or experience as a lead worker overseeing the work of others.
  • Ability to plan, assign, review, and evaluate the work of staff, or supervise through subordinate supervisors a group of professional, technical, and clerical employees.

Additional Requirements for Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families:

  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children or adolescents.
