NOW HIRING:

Line Cooks – for fast-paced kitchen

Pay: $15-$18/ hour depending on experience

Full Time & Part Time

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh

  • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients

  • Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods

  • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes

  • Occasionally serve/run food

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes

  • Handle and store ingredients and food

  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

  • Ensure stations are prepped, stocked and ready for service

  • Turn over clean and restocked station for next shift

  • Standard cleaning of equipment, dishes and facilities

  • Being a team player and helping others


Skills:

  • Prep and cook in a fast paced restaurant kitchen

  • Works well independently and with a team

  • Familiar with kitchen sanitation measures and safety regulations

  • Knows how to cook on and operate flat tops, burners, ovens, and fryers

  • Multi-tasking

  • Can lift and move boxes/objects 50lbs

  • Maintains a positive attitude throughout the shift no matter how busy it gets


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 6 months restaurant kitchen prep experience (required).

  • Minimum 1 year restaurant kitchen cooking and/or prep experience (preferred).

  • Reliable transportation (required)

  • ServSafe Food Handler or willing to get it (required)

  • ServeSafe Manager Certification or willing to get it (desired).


Schedule:

  • Full Time & Part Time

  • Days & Evenings

  • Weekdays and weekends
