Clinic Speech Language Pathologist Full/Part Time

We have full-time and part-time opportunities to provide speech therapy services and assessments at our outpatient clinic in Claremont, CA.

Salary:
Salary Range: $98,840 to $120,640/year, based on years of pediatric experience
Hourly Rate: $48.00 to $58.00 /hour, based on years of pediatric experience
Paid at same rate for cancellations/no-shows
1 hour paid plan time daily for full time therapist

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping children reach their full potential through therapeutic interventions and activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide supervision and guidance to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in their delivery of therapy services.
- Develop and oversee treatment plans for SLPAs, ensuring they align with student goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students receiving therapy services from SLPAs, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEP goals.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers, providing updates on therapy progress and strategies for home reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to improve students' speech, language, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, paraprofessionals, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
