- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- On Call: Limited, with adjustments around shift schedules
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week assignment in Aiken, SC. The CT Tech will operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure. You will be responsible for positioning patients correctly, adjusting technical factors, reviewing physician orders, and assisting physicians during procedures. Duties also include room preparation, handling supplies, responding to contrast reactions and codes, and accurately scheduling exams and charge entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors
- Analyze body habitus and adjust technical factors to optimize image quality
- Position patients properly for various procedures
- Assist physicians with room prep, supplies, and during procedures
- Manage contrast reactions and emergency situations such as codes
- Schedule and complete exams while entering charge codes accurately
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1-year CT tech experience
- Ability to operate CT and radiographic equipment proficiently
- ARRT Certification required
- CT Certification preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with physicians during procedures
Education & Certifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification required
- Current state license required (active)
- CT Certification preferred
