FORM / CONCRETE CARPENTER

Craftsmen Contractors is hiring Form / Concrete Carpenters for the Sarasota Area

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the installation of structures and fixtures, could include windows and molding.
• Experience with vertical concrete (pouring walls, columns, formwork)
• Provide support to concrete foreman.
• Take the measurement and cut materials to build forms for pouring concrete
• Responsible for operating electrical, air-powered, and regular hand tools during projects
• Spread, rake, and finish concrete
• Responsible for carrying out general construction labor tasks
• Provide support with fabrication during projects

Job Requirements:

• Must be proficient in measuring and cutting, because the pre-made form sizes don’t always match the exact structure dimensions.
• Must construct fillers to bridge the gaps.
• Must have at least 2 years of Form / Concrete Carpentry experience.
• Must have basic hand tools, ALL PPE and reliable transportation to get to job site.
• Must have a working knowledge of the various methods used to assemble all major types of forms.
