We are currently seeking Fire Alarm & Security Apprentices to join our team.

This position supports a professional Fire Alarm Technician with the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists, as appropriate with inspections, service, install and sales on a variety of fire protection equipment including fire alarm systems, and additional fire protection / life safety equipment as skills develop.
  • Previous experience is a plus.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or delegated
  • Learn to follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Learn proper installation techniques

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Proactive approach and attitude towards work
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces
