Digital Die Cutter Compensation/Benefits:
  • Pay: $17-$20/hour depending on your experience
  • Shifts Available 2nd shift & 3rd shift
  • 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
  • 3rd Shift Hours: 10:00pm-6:00am, Sunday-Thursday

Digital Die Cutter Job Description
The Digital Die Cutter will be part of a collaborative Finishing team that ensures only the best products are made, and that they are producing labels which show their level of pride and care. Every day they bring their customers’ labels and packaging to life, creating a customer experience that is second to none, and enabling them to stand out over the competition. Imagine walking through stores and seeing their labels on your favorite products and brands

Key Responsibilities for Digital Die Cutter:
  • Proper set-up, operation, quality, and changeover of the die cutter operations
  • Inspecting labels to ensure they are free of errors and/or defects
  • Participating in continuous improvement teams including Kaizen events and daily improvement projects, focusing on Lean methodologies 
  • Working safely, abiding by and promoting established safety policies and procedures; identifying and following-up on unsafe conditions
  • Participating in cross-training with an open and positive attitude
  • Performing required preventive maintenance on assigned Finishing equipment
  • Preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation for assigned finishing tasks; entering accurate production information including finished product count and start/stop times in the data collection system

Digital Die Cutter candidates must demonstrate:
  • Effective time management skills on multiple long- and short-term projects, meeting all related deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies (tools, hardware, and software)
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalities
  • High levels of customer service, responding promptly, clearly, concisely, and accurately to the inquires and needs of individuals, both internal and external to the organization
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of people inside and outside the organization

Digital Die Cutter Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • Required: High School degree or equivalent
  • Required: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift
  • Required: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
  • Preferred: Two or more years in flexographic printing
