Mold Remediation Technician

Rapid Mold Removal is seeking a skilled and motivated Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. As a Mold Remediation Technician, you will play a crucial role in assessing and resolving mold-related issues in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in mold identification, removal, and prevention will help ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and their environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mold inspections and assessments to identify the type and extent of mold infestations in various properties.
  • Safely and effectively remove mold from affected areas using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Employ industry-approved methods to clean and disinfect mold-contaminated surfaces.
  • Install and maintain mold-resistant materials to prevent future mold growth.
  • Follow established safety guidelines and procedures while working with hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate and execute mold remediation projects efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, remediation plans, and completion records.
  • Communicate with clients, providing clear explanations of the remediation process and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in mold remediation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mold remediation or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance power and hand tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel and withstand long period of time in a vehicle.

Use of a company vehicle with all tools and equipment supplied by the Rapid Mold Removal.

Pay is based on a piece rate and ranges from $45k-$55k yearly.
