Decorative Concrete Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

Experience with concrete a plus, decorative concrete applications a HUGE plus. We can train as needed with the application portion of the job.

Concrete preparation is one of the most critical elements to this job; Concrete grinding, Vacuuming, and Pressure washing are the primary means to prep concrete.

Be able to drive and maneuver a truck with a 16 ft utility trailer, valid driver's license with good record to be insured by the company.

Preparation of surrounding areas: Each client has the expectation that we will leave their space in the same or better condition than we found it. Tape and plastic all surrounding areas, if working indoors, tape off the vents to the air systems.

Learn and understand the various products that Concrete by Design offers: Stain, Polish, Epoxy, Resurfacing, Stamped Overlays.

Application of various decorative concrete products, read and understand the manufacturers technical data sheets; be able to use a calculator to determine ratios of products needed.

Maintain and clean working environment which includes shop, trucks, trailers, and job sites.

Follow all safety and training protocols while driving and on the job site. Wear safety goggles and respirators when required.

Attend monthly meetings and add input on process improvements needed to be implemented.

Be professional, show initiative with your teammates and clients on site. You are the face of the company in front of every customer.
