CVP is seeking Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiology Physicians specializing in either body imaging, MSK Radiology, or Neuroradiology to provide on-site services at the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and contribute to the mission of serving our Veterans.

Location: Orlando VA Healthcare System, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, excluding Federal Holidays. No on-call coverage required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide body imaging or MSK Radiology reads, including but not limited to: CT Scans, Ultrasounds, and General Radiology (plain films).
  • Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and tumor boards as required.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with ACR standards.
  • Provide consultation and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for CT, General Radiology (plain films), US, radiologic procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all VA policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records in the VA's electronic health record system.
  • Participate in teaching and training activities for residents and fellows, if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
  • Fellowship training in either Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology, or Neuroradiology.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of continuous experience as a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist within the last ten (10) years.
  • Proficiency in reading CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic X-ray imaging.
  •  Ability to obtain and maintain credentials and privileges at the Orlando VA Healthcare System.
  • Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills across a wide range of imaging modalities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and PACS.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in radiology.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications

Additional Requirements:

  • Eligibility to obtain VA Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  •  Ability to successfully pass a government background investigation.
  • Compliance with all VA-mandated training and health requirements.
