Job Overview:

One of our large, trusted clients is seeking a Credit Specialist to join their team

Onsite/Hybrid: Monday- Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing questions and general inquiries.
  • Identify and assess potential bad debt and financial risk exposure.
  • Handle collections for past-due accounts, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support accounts receivable and cash application tasks as needed.
  • Reduce accounts receivable aging and delinquency
  • Prepare weekly and/or monthly reports on account status and collections progress.
  • Review and process pending orders and account adjustments
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes
  • Participate in special projects to support the Credit and Finance departments.
  • Maintain professional B2B relationships
  • Actively communicate via email, phone, and other communication channels to ensure the timely resolution of payment issues.

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Proven experience in Collections
  • Accounts Receivable

Skills:

  • Intermediate Excel ( V lookup, Pivot Tables ), ERP software experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to handle client interactions professionally.
  • Ability to navigate challenges with clients while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Highly professional, personable, and collaborative.
  • Ability to work effectively in a corporate environment with a friendly & positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
