King Retail Solutions, a leading designer and manufacturer of retail design, decor, and cabinetry/casework/millwork is looking for a skilled CNC Operator.


Position Summary:

The CNC Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of the CNC machine. A CNC operator must consistently keep an eye out for quality and meet all time expectations. The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. Extended hours and Saturdays may be required during our busiest times.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Production Lead to ensure that production fulfilled by traveler dates; provide data proactively if production delays may occur to supervisor.
  • Load or unload materials from machine.
  • Inspect machinery or equipment to determine adjustments to machine.
  • Read and interpret shop drawing and be able to work from cut list.
  • Verifies accuracy of machined work pieces against blueprints or drawings.
  • Maintain consistent production quality.
  • Understand technical operation of a beam saw.
  • Read work order, instructions, or processing chart.
  • Provide factual and timely information on all aspects and status of assigned jobs.
  • Operates a safe work environment and keeps area neat and orderly, with materials and tools organized for efficient space utilization.
  • Input necessary data for operation and material optimize.
  • Counts, sorts, and stacks finished work pieces and disposes of waste materials.
Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; prior technical skills in related field; two to three years experience as the individual responsible for directing activities in production process.

Knowledge, Skills and other Abilities:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Time and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and follow directions, understands and interprets technical drawings, details, and written instructions.
  • Proven ability to accurately maintain and report status of production jobs to lead and supervisor.
  • Proven ability to promote a cooperative work environment and teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and adhere to KRS quality standards.
  • Ability to lift 30-50lbs regularly through a shift.

Education & Experience:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent; AA or BA preferred; prior technical skills in manufacturing or related field; two to three years’ experience as the individual responsible for directing activities in shipping
