Electrical Contractor - Project Estimator

We are a Union Electrical Contractor on the South Shore looking for an Assistant Estimator.  

  • Organize and maintain BID correspondence and documentation as directed

  • Experience with Electrical Estimating Programs is a plus (McCormick, ConEast, Accubid)

  • Execute bid log responses and follow ups

  • Coordinate project bulletins and change order requests and pricing

  • Coordinate and issue price requests with vendors for Bid Packages

  • Continue to develop knowledge of industry codes and labor units

  • Continue to develop knowledge of Cost Control, Change Order, and Estimating

  • Coordinate and Supervise the execution of bid take offs

  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints and SK's

  • Must have excellent communication skills

Schedule:

  • This is full time office-based position (not a remote position).
