Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Physician's Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Compassionate Team player
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs
  • Ability to work as a sole provider at an outpatient facility with a medical supervisor available on call
  • Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional appearance
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
  • Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
  • Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
  • Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
  • Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
  • Develop and implement patient management plans
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed Physician's Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan
  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited institution
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
