TITLE: Quality Assurance technician/inspector

DEPARTMENT:       Quality Assurance Department

Everson Tesla is looking for a quality inspector/technician monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs. The quality inspector/technician responsibilities include adhering to quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, following quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to assure compliance to quality measures.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

·       Perform inspection of incoming parts/material for dimensional, cosmetic or certification non-conformances. Perform first piece, in process, and final inspections.

·       Maintain documentation for all incoming raw material, in process WIP, and shipped products.

·       Assist with ISO 9001 procedures, documentation, and internal audits.

  • Assure quality standards and compliance to quality control systems.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Collaborating with operations managers to assure controls and improvements.
  • Ensure that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
  • Assist with developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
  • Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.

Educational and Technical Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree in quality, industrial engineering or equivalent

§  Strong background in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

§  Strong background in inspection of parts in accordance with work orders, specifications and tolerances.

§  Ability to use all standard measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, go/no-go and thread gages.

§  Experience reading/proofing an and understanding certifications:

§  ASTM-- American Society for Testing and Materials

§  MILITARY Specification a plus

  • ASQ certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, or a similar role.

§  Ability to read and understand blueprints and machining drawings interpreting to ASME Y14-5.

§  Proficient with computers and Microsoft office.
