Charles Meisner, Inc. ( a family owned Aerospace company ) is looking for a 3, 4, & 5 axis  CNC Machinist. Our company provides services and product in support of the military, aircraft and defense industry. The applicant will be required to have a broad knowledge of setting up and machining of precision multi axis metallic products.  This is a job shop environment so every day is a new adventure.  Being a job shop, most jobs are shorter runs, and quick paced.  The raw material, and products being manufactured, will change often.

Basic requirements:

Capable to setup 3, 4, & 5 Axis (Simultaneous) CNC vertical milling machines and perform all associated machining operations.

5+ years of experience setting up and operating vertical CNC Equipment in a non-production machining environment.

Able to carefully prove-out new CNC programs and make minor edits when necessary.

Employee must possesses exceptional mechanical aptitude, is detail oriented, precise and makes very few errors.

Ability to analyze new and older programs with the mindset of continually improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Must be able to easily multi-task from machining project to project as daily production requirements change.

You must have the ability to read and Interpret (GD&T) on the drawings as well as various part specifications.

Have experience working with a variety of materials (ie, steel, aluminum, stainless steel, high-temp alloys, etc.) and has a good working knowledge of high speed, and carbide cutting tools, including appropriate speeds & feeds used for machining.

Promotes and practices safety in the workplace.

Must fluently speak English & works well with others as a team player.

Exhibits a positive attitude & is open-minded to constructive criticism.

A self-starter that works responsibly & dependably with little supervision.

Must own your own basic tools for equipment setup, and precision inspection tools for measuring product during operation of equipment.

Mastercam programing of both 2D and 3D products required.

Employee will be screened and verified for work authorization in the USA

Hours: 6:00AM – 4:30PM Monday thru Thursday
