As a line cook, you’re responsible for the preparation of food by following our high standards and recipes. A successful line cook will ensure that everything is in order – from the prepping of stations to maintaining a clean kitchen. - Provide first-rate dining experiences. Kitchens can be hot, noisy and stressful places but you are cool under pressure with the ability to work safely and quickly to ensure your culinary component is delivered timely and accurately every time.
- Be prepared and ready to learn. This requires you to come to work on time and ready to work, stock and organize your area, prep any items needed for service, and complete food orders for our guests. You are eager to learn new duties and/or stations to advance your career.
- Make food with high-quality ingredients. This is the fun part You’ll be responsible for knowing how to create an extensive list of our popular menu items.
- Work with a team of professionals. You enjoy working with others and through collaboration, our kitchen team turns out amazing creations. Sometimes this means being flexible and using your knowledge to help others. You exhibit clean work habits and understand your shared ownership of keeping a safe and clean work area.

Recipe for Success:
- You are good on your feet with the ability to stand/walk for 100% of the shift
- You are dependable: You come to work on time, work well with a team, and are available to work on the weekends
- You know the kitchen already because you have at least 6 months of experience in a high-volume kitchen (scratch fine-dining experience is a plus, but not required). You can demonstrate proper food handling techniques, knife skills, and how to use kitchen equipment.
- You can demonstrate your ability to follow recipes and and an understanding of recipe conversion
- You show strong attention-to-detail, organization, retention, and problem-solving skills even while working under a sense of urgency and with quality ingredients.
- You know and continue to adhere to all applicable state health compliance requirements (including getting licenses/certifications where applicable)
- Fast-paced and high-pressure are not scary words to you - in fact, challenges only fuel you up to adapt and evolve
- You are at least 18 years of age
Cool if you have it (but not expected):
- You have earned at least a High School Diploma/GED
- You enjoy movies (even the hidden gems)

WORKING CONDITIONS: This job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, frier, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, burns, slipping, tripping, and minimal exposure to cleaning chemicals. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
