Floral Designer

We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs. A background in retail sales and experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements that meet customer specifications and preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting flowers and arrangements.
• Maintain knowledge of current floral trends and techniques to enhance design offerings.
• Manage inventory by stocking flowers, plants, and supplies; ensure freshness and quality.
• Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, delivery options, and care instructions.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Qualifications

• 2 plus years of experience as a professional floral designer (including wedding and funeral work)
• Strong retail sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales is a plus.
• A passion for gardening and knowledge of various flower types is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
