We are seeking an experienced SCM CNC Router Operator to join our clients team in Kent, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining SCM CNC routers to fabricate high-quality furniture components. This is a contract-to-hire position.

 

Compensation: $25-30 DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Location: Kent, WA

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate SCM CNC routers for the cutting, shaping, and drilling of wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials according to design specifications.

  • Load materials into the CNC machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.

  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to ensure proper machining.

  • Program the CNC router machine based on the production schedule and customer specifications.

  • Perform machine setup, calibration, and tool changes as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC router operator, preferably with SCM CNC equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, and operations.

  • Familiarity with woodworking tools, materials, and furniture production processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
