Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the cardiopulmonary bypass machine during all open-heart surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Stay until the completion of the open-heart case for the day, working a minimum of eight (8) hours when scheduled.
- Be onsite during all scheduled operating room hours and available to respond to on-call requests within one (1) hour.
- Maintain and exceed national standards for perfusion as set by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
What We're Looking For:
- Board Certified by the ABCP (Board Eligible is not accepted).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist.
- Ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills and a dedication to patient safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug testing.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be within 30 minutes of the facility during scheduled hours to ensure timely response to emergencies.
- Available to work a flexible schedule and adapt to the demands of the cardiac surgery schedule.
