Tooling Design Engineer

DeKalb, IL

About:

Aegis is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the DeKalb, IL area that is looking to add a Tooling Design Engineer to their high-performing team. The team is looking for an engineer that has gained a good baseline of experience in mechanical engineering, but also someone who has room left to grow. Hiring Manager Notes:

Must have:

·       Either HS Diploma only and 2+ years of experience or a two-year degree and entry level experience.

·       2D AutoCAD experience

·       3D Solidworks experience

·       Mechanical inclination

·       Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints

·       Experience with Microsoft Suite

·       Strong math skills

Nice to have:

·       Strong communication skills

·       Ability to handle projects with limited supervision

·       Experience in a fast-paced environment

·       Experience in the packaging machinery space

·       Positive outlook
