Sheetmetal Foreman

We are seeking a skilled Foreman Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC/R systems and possess strong technical and lead management skills to excel in this role.

Duties:

- Foreman should have 5+ years experience and knowledge of installing HVAC equipment in a commercial building Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components for HVAC systems

-Will manage the entire project field team, and record all personnel time keeping.

- Maintain operational records and logs; and monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment.

-Have a complete understanding of OSHA construction safety guidelines and the ability to enforce them at project sites

-Reading blueprints and implementing installation from site drawings

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using hand and power tools

- Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine work procedures

- Conduct inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot problems

- Weld and solder components as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all work processes

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Foreman Sheet Metal Mechanic

- Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters, plumb bobs, and welding equipment

- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, air conditioning, and ammonia refrigeration

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship

- Foreman should possess general knowledge of using mobile devices for receiving and transferring communication/information with office teams

-Ability to work and oversee project sites in various outdoor elements (hot or cold weather)

- Knowledge and understanding of construction workflow

- Knowledge and understanding of sheet metal and duct installation

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently communicate

- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
