Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly talented CNC Machinist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and performing cutting demonstrations, both live and recorded, to showcase the technical capabilities and value of SolidCAM solutions. You will also support trade show preparations by developing display parts, manufacturing giveaways, and customizing equipment as needed. Additionally, this role includes machine maintenance, setup, and programming (CAM) to ensure smooth operation of CNC and auxiliary equipment within our Tech Center.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience ranging from 2.5D to 5-axis milling and turning.
• 5–10 years in a machine shop and 5 years of CAM programming experience.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• A keen eye for detail, as most projects will be shown in an "as-machined" state for presentation.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including partners, prospects, trainees, and customers, in a professional and courteous manner. Must be able to adapt communication style to suit the needs of each audience while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Solid understanding of machine shop safety practices, ensuring all interactions and demonstrations adhere to industry safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. periodically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices.
• NX CAD/CAM experience.
• Experience with Hermle/Heidenhain.
• Mill-turn and Swiss machining experience.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Camera experience (GoPro, mirrorless, etc.).
• CAD experience.
