Emergency Response Supervisor

Supervise Rapid Response, Inc. HazMat Cleanup Teams per corporate policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
This supervisory position will be based out of the Oxford PA Branch. However, the supervisor will be required to respond to any spills needed in the RRI coverage area.
Oversee all activities at the Oxford PA Office and report back to RRI’s Director of Operations.
Possess working knowledge of environmental cleanup techniques & protocol.
Oversee project work activities.
Respond in a timely manner to emergency spills and cleanup projects. Provide 24/7 availability.
Communicate with emergency services including but not limited to: fire, local and state police, EMS and regulatory agencies including DEP, DOT and EPA.
Interact with clients, engineers, vendors and subcontractors.
Project assignments include environmental spill response situations and working with chemicals, hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, confined space environments and other environmental remediation construction work.
A “Hands On” approach is required.
Duties also include attending pre-bid project site walks, estimating, training and mentoring personnel and successful performance and completion of any company related tasks
Administrate all required paperwork.
Develop and manage schedules, track costs, interpret contracts, read blueprints and complete submittals.
Provide timely and accurate business related paperwork.
Support of other organization departments
Possess working knowledge of/willingness to learn HazMat, DOT and EPA/RCRA regulations.
Must be a strong leader and have the ability to be a problem solver.
This position requires overnight travel.
Understand, practice and enforce company policies and procedures.
Understand and practice basic business fundamentals and principles.
Participate in sales, marketing and industry trade shows to obtain new clients and business opportunities.
Possess competent computer skills along with strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Attend and successfully complete related training and education seminars/classes.
A positive attitude and ability to be a team player is required.
Must possess good organizational and prioritization skills.
All duties performed are to be conducted with safety as the top priority.
