Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings to accurately set up and operate a ProtoTRAK Mill for machining components.
  • Perform machining tasks, ensuring precision and quality in producing parts according to specifications.
  • Utilize a variety of measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision gauges, to inspect and verify part dimensions throughout the machining process.
  • Record and maintain detailed job documentation, including updating job routers and process sheets to reflect the current status of each job.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly maintaining both the machine and the surrounding workspace.

Required Education/Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating a ProtoTRAK Mill in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated experience with measuring tools and precision gauges to ensure part quality and adherence to specifications.
