Freedom Physical Therapy and Fitness is a small, family owned business looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
  • Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
  • Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
  • Record and document patient care services
  • Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical disabilities and conditions
  • Develop individualized therapy plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Educate patients on self-care and health maintenance
  • Monitor progress of patients and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Record patient information and treatment notes
  • Communicate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and family members
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety and professional regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Doctorate degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE accredited program
  • Licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Florida
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and principles
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
