We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager in the Public sector, located in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The role involves overseeing tax-related activities within the organization and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This role is in the accounting industry and will be 100% remote.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee and manage all tax operations within the organization

• Utilize various accounting software systems to ensure accurate and efficient work

• Communicate and coordinate with financial service providers

• Be responsible for the annual income tax provision and auditing processes

• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations

• Oversee entity formation processes and manage related activities

• Utilize UltraTax and QuickBooks software for tax-related tasks

• Supervise and direct all accounting functions within the organization

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to tax and accounting.

• Should be proficient in using Accounting Software Systems

• Must have experience with UltraTax

• Should have a solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision is required

• Must have a background in Auditing

• Compliance skills are necessary

• CPA required

7 years of tax experience
