REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF IT SUPPORT
SALARY: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
SUMMARY:
Westhab is seeking a skilled camera systems tech to join our team, safeguard our assets, and enhance operational efficiency. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security and communication systems across the company. Proof of the COVID-19 vaccine is required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop and implement camera system upgrade plans with the security team.
● Conduct regular camera security audits and vulnerability assessments.
● Troubleshoot and resolve complex camera system issues.
● Perform preventative maintenance on various IP Camera systems including Meraki and DW Spectrum. ● Coordinate design and installation of new/upgraded camera systems.
● Maintain existing camera systems.
● Attend compliance training.
● Support/Train staff on camera systems.
EXPERIENCE EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Degree in technical-related discipline.
● At least 2 years of camera systems experience
. ● Fundamental understanding of access control and security systems.
● Proficiency in Meraki Vision Portal.
● A+ certification
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Valid NYS Driver's License
