Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)

Job Description: Sunbelt Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency, is seeking an experienced CT Tech to join a top-tier trauma center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This night shift position requires a highly skilled technologist with a strong background in trauma imaging and the ability to work with Siemens equipment. The role involves comprehensive experience in abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, contrast media preparation and administration, IV starts, spine/musculoskeletal imaging, aspirations/biopsies, drainage procedures, brain perfusion, PACS, CTA, and CCTA. The position covers all age groups, from neonates to older adults, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Proficiency with Cerner is also required. This opportunity is ideal for a CT Tech who thrives in a fast-paced, trauma-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced CT imaging, including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal scans.
  • Utilize Siemens equipment to conduct multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, and other specialized imaging.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media, ensuring patient safety.
  • Start IVs and assist with aspirations/biopsies and drainage procedures.
  • Work with PACS for image processing and management.
  • Apply isolation precautions as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients across all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • BLS certification via the American Heart Association.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a CT Tech in a trauma setting.
  • Proficiency with Siemens equipment and Cerner software.
  • Expertise in imaging techniques, contrast media administration, and IV starts.
  • Ability to handle a wide range of cases, from neonates to older adults.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a trauma environment.
