We are seeking an IT/OT Network Engineer with an RCDD certification to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated IT and OT network infrastructure that meets the demands of both enterprise and industrial environments. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical network systems and manage communication across various systems, including industrial control systems, sensors, and enterprise applications.
You will:
- Design and implement network infrastructure that integrates IT and OT environments, ensuring seamless communication between data centers, industrial control systems, and IoT devices.
- Bridge IT/OT systems, ensuring connectivity and interoperability between SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and enterprise IT systems.
- Implement security protocols to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
- Provide technical support for network-related issues, diagnosing and resolving problems across both IT and OT domains.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless communication systems.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations and engineering teams, to understand their needs and implement network solutions that enhance productivity and security.
- Create and maintain network design diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures for both IT and OT environments.
- Ensure that network systems comply with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, and implement IT and OT best practices.
- Apply RCDD expertise in structured cabling system design, ensuring that all physical layer infrastructure complies with industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the careers of our associates.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- RCDD certification. Additional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in IT and OT network engineering.
- Proven experience with industrial networks and communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
- Experience in designing and deploying network solutions in industrial environments (factories, plants, etc.).
- Expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence, IoT networks, CPwE, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
- Familiarity with wireless networking, VLANs, network segmentation, and zero-trust architecture.
