Composite Apprentice

What We Need:

We are looking for an experienced Composites Apprentice to work in our Gel Coat Area. This role supports the production operations to ensure the organization is able to keep up with production demand and meet quality needs.

Are you:

• Mechanically inclined and Detail Oriented.
• Safety conscientious.
• Familiar with Gel Coating.

A Day in the Life of:

• Gel Coat Molds.
• Wax, wipe and inspect molds for mold marks, fractures or irregularities.
• Finish all parts ensure a defect-free product meeting quality standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Other tasks as assigned.

What Makes You Qualified:

• HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.
• Previous gel coating/painting experience required

Must Haves:

• Ability to meet product specifications without flaws.
• Ability to handle and maintain tools.
• Ability to perform repetitive wrist/arm motion for extended periods of time.
• Maximum lifting of 50lbs. (All lifting over 50lbs. requires a team lift).
• Adherence to McClarin PPE requirements.
