Senior Tax Analyst

Our client in Smyrna is hiring for the role of Senior Tax Analyst. This company has experienced a great deal of growth over the last few months and needs to add to their team This position will offer fast promotability for someone that is looking to grow in their career
Responsibilities:
- Income, property, and indirect taxes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, while minimizing the corporate tax burden through effective diligence and planning.
- • Assist and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/use, and miscellaneous filings and reporting requirements
- • Assist with income tax compliance and provision, including estimates and extensions
- • Assist in property tax process, including compilation of asset data for outsourced compliance provider, gaining an understanding of company assets and their utilization for potential exemptions, and bill tracking / coordination of payments
- • Work with outsourced compliance providers for all tax types. Assist with review of returns.
Requirements:
- • BA/BS degree or higher in Accounting or related field
- •Minimum 1-3 years of tax or accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word, other software a plus
