AV/VTC Engineer

Job Description: The AV/VTC Engineer will perform complex systems development and design work, including logic design, I/O design, and both analog and digital systems engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining system specifications, input/output processes, and ensuring hardware/software compatibility for AV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AV and VTC systems for new and existing projects.
- Synthesize customer requests into comprehensive working documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project continuity and success.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on AV systems.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering superior customer service.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot existing and new AV systems to resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in AV and VTC engineering.
- TS clearance/SCI eligibility required.
- Working knowledge of AV technologies, including Crestron, Planar, and Biamp.
- Certifications: CTS-I and/or CTS-D preferred.
- Proficient in CAD and Visio.
- Foundational understanding of Crestron programming is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skills:
- Self-sufficient, responsible, and well-organized.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects to meet specific deadlines.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyze general business documentation.
