Job Description: The AV/VTC Engineer will perform complex systems development and design work, including logic design, I/O design, and both analog and digital systems engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining system specifications, input/output processes, and ensuring hardware/software compatibility for AV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AV and VTC systems for new and existing projects.
  • Synthesize customer requests into comprehensive working documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on AV systems.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering superior customer service.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot existing and new AV systems to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in AV and VTC engineering.
  • TS clearance/SCI eligibility required.
  • Working knowledge of AV technologies, including Crestron, Planar, and Biamp.
  • Certifications: CTS-I and/or CTS-D preferred.
  • Proficient in CAD and Visio.
  • Foundational understanding of Crestron programming is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Self-sufficient, responsible, and well-organized.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects to meet specific deadlines.
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze general business documentation.
