North County Water & Sports Therapy Center is a private, physical therapy practice based in San Diego, California. We specialize in providing comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation services to our patients, focusing on personalized care and innovative treatment techniques. Our therapists work with each client/ patient one on one for the entire hour, no double booking or seeing multiple patients at once.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist/ Clinical Supervisor at North County Water & Sports Therapy Center in San Diego, CA. The role involves conducting physical therapy assessments and treatments, developing and implementing rehabilitation plans, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring quality patient care.
Summary
As a Physical Therapist/Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for providing and overseeing patient care and managing clinic operations. This role requires a strong foundation in patient care, while also leveraging premium skills understanding clinic metrics and efficient operations without sacrificing quality of care or staff experiencing burnout. You will report to the clinic owner and work collaboratively with her and the office manager to ensure the team is providing high-quality service delivery, enhancing patient outcomes and clinic efficiency in our outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality patient care 30-32 hours per week.
Meet weekly with business owner and office manager.
Review company KPIs and metrics weekly, identify trends, reporting concerns and offering potential solutions, working with the team to improve KPIs.
Contribute to growth and marketing strategies along with marketing to local MDs and referral sources.
Contribute to weekly High five email (recognizing team members who went above and beyond that week).
Coordinating clinical team schedules, time off requests and coverage.
Act as CCE for the clinic working with schools and students.
Mentor and train new and current clinical team members.
Oversee overall cleanliness of the clinic.
Work with office manager to handle client complaints as needed.
Review clinical team documentation metrics (prediction health software) and educate team members as needed on improving quality of documentation.
Contribute to the development and modification of workplace procedures as needed. Assist management team in reinforcing these procedures including education and motivating staff for compliance.
Consistently seeks educational opportunities for self and team.
Provide honest feedback to clinic owner without fear of consequences. Including but not limited to KPIs and clinical team concerns.
Contribute ideas and ways to ensure a positive environment for both staff and clients.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist with strong patient care skills
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in discharge planning and developing care plans
- Familiarity with EMR systems and outpatient clinic operations
- Background in orthopedics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical and problem- solving skills
- Ease at speaking with physicians and other referral sources
- Love what you do and have a passion for the physical therapy profession as a whole.
