Job DescriptionJob Description

Certified MRI Technician looking to join our team at Orthopedic Center for Sports Medicine (OCSM) healthcare. We are a medical office in Metairie, La who are dedicated in providing high-quality healthcare to our community.

-MRI tech to perform extremity MRI's in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting.

-To perform MRI scans and operate MRI equipment according to established protocols and safety standards.

-Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns.

-Ensure patients are positioned correctly to obtain high-quality images.

-Monitor the patients condition and safety during the procedure.

-Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety and imaging protocols.

-Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of MRI equipment to ensure operational safety.

Must provide current certification as an MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) or equivalent.

Must provide State licensure as required.

Previous experience in MRI imaging preferred but not required.

Strong ability to work independently and as part of the OCSM team.

Flexible schedule to accommodate part-time hours.
