Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. Provide clinical patient care to assist the other staff during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician's orders.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain the best quality images.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in medical records.
• Provide clinical support to co-workers during peak times. Such as triaging patients and performing rapid testing or other clinical processes as needed.
• Documenting patient information in the EMR.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Delaware state licensure and certification as an X-ray Technician.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures and protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
