Key Responsibilities:

  • A sales operations manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sales processes, tools, and resources within an organization to ensure efficient and effective sales operations. They work closely with sales teams to streamline workflows, set performance metrics, analyze pricing data across SKUs, verticals, accounts, and volume levels within each vertical and implement strategies to improve productivity and revenue generation.  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

    Process Optimization: Developing and refining sales processes to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks. 

    Sales Tools & Systems Management:  Managing CRM systems and other sales technology to ensure they meet the needs of the sales team. 

    Training & Support:  Providing support and training to sales teams to improve their use of tools, processes, and data. 

    Pricing Analytics by SKU, Vertical, and Account:  Develop a structured pricing analysis system that examines each SKU within the verticals (Electrical, Solvent Weld, Irrigation, and Retail), understanding competitive dynamics, market positioning, and account-specific pricing history. 

    Volume-Based Pricing Insights: Develop volume-based pricing models to ensure pricing tiers reflect the costs and benefits of scale. This will allow us to strategically adjust pricing on higher-volume orders to maximize profitability without compromising margin. 

    Market and Competitor Analysis: Continuously track competitor pricing movements and industry trends, ensuring our pricing remains competitive while aligned with JM Eagle’s profitability goals. 

    Adapt pricing strategies to respond to changes in the market, such as increased raw material costs or shifts in demand. 

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    This position supervises and coaches sales staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales operations, with a track record of success in management or leadership roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales technologies.
  • Exceptional ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
