Our client is seeking a Senior Product Designer who excels at delivering high-quality work, whether at the beginning, middle, or final stages of a project. This role demands a curious and detail-oriented individual who understands the "why" behind their work and effectively communicates the problem, business value, and user needs.

As part of a collaborative team of 26, working within a squad of 8, the ideal candidate is adaptable, humble, and focused on getting the job done. You’ll bring expertise in user experience, visual design, and design systems, contributing to projects of all sizes and complexities.


Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define requirements and deliver user-centered solutions.
  • Design Solutions: Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate ideas and user flows effectively.
  • Research & Testing: Partner with UX researchers to participate in user research and usability testing, identifying user needs and pain points.
  • UI Development: Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces that adhere to brand and accessibility standards.
  • Design Systems: Enhance components and maintain consistency within Figma-based design systems.
  • Flexibility: Contribute to projects at any stage, whether early ideation or final delivery, and adapt to varying project sizes and complexities.
  • Feedback Culture: Actively participate in design critiques and offer constructive feedback to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into your work.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of UX design experience focused on digital products.
  • Visual Design: Proficiency in creating visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Research Tools: Familiarity with tools like UserZoom for user research and usability testing.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong capacity to generate multiple solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Figma, including auto layout and responsive design principles.
  • Adaptability: Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of UX writing and content hierarchy.
  • Ability to incorporate meaningful placeholder content in designs (avoiding lorem ipsum).
