Nuclear Medicine Tech – Days 5x8 Hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP
How Many Weeks: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour days 5 days per week
Experience: Fluoro procedures and OR experience required
Certs: X-ray certified, Requires Utah X-ray license. It's pretty quick to get through reciprocity if you have a license in another state.

Job Description:
Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures on all patients. Receive and document radiopharmaceuticals in computer systems for regulatory compliance. Perform nuclear imaging based on standard protocols approved by the Medical Director. Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies utilizing various radioisotope equipment. Perform blood volume studies following standard lab technique. Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals per regulatory requirements. Practice radiation safety at all times. Performs quality control procedures on all equipment and locations. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor. 8-5p M-F
Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the ARRT and/or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the NMTCB. SCRQSA Certification is required. BLS required. ACLS
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
