Summary:


We are looking for a Product Development Associate to join our legwear design team.


Responsibilities:


  • Clear communication daily with our overseas factories about the development and status of the styles, using the PLM system.
  • Sending out detailed tech packs (CBDs) to factory for given accounts.
  • Checking all PPS samples upon arrival to ensure all direction was followed, reviewing with design and sales, then relaying clear comments/approvals to factory.
  • Creating and updating development charts staying aligned with time and action calendar.
  • Work closely with internal teams including design and production to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Sourcing new styles and ideas with factory when given from design.


Qualifications:


  • 1-3 years in product development, experience in socks & hosiery a plus.
  • Proficient in Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with PLM a plus.
  • Sharp eye for color and pattern to be able to recognize mistakes from factory compared to CBDs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to get samples corrected when issues arise.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with a self-starter attitude.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in: Organization, Attention to Detail, Project Management and Time Management.

NY Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this position is ($50,000 – $55,000) annually based on skills and experience.
