CNC Grinder – Setup/Operate

  • $26 to $36 per hour - based on experience
  • Monday through Thursday – 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Overtime available

B&G Manufacturing is a privately-owned, custom-high-strength fastener and precision parts manufacturer with more than 60 years of experience supplying customers within the Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Energy, Nuclear, and Oil and Gas industries.

We have been growing at an aggressive pace and are looking to grow our team Our manufacturing group is currently seeking an experienced CNC Grinder Machinist to join us at our facility in Hatfield. The primary responsibilities for this position include: reading & understanding engineering prints/specifications, setting up and operating CNC Grinders (multi-axis capability), and using measuring devices to verify that parts comply with specifications.

Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC Grinders (on centers) is a must.
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering prints/technical drawings and measure part features using micrometers, calipers, and other basic hand gages.
  • Experience working with stainless, carbon steel, titanium, Inconel, and other exotic materials is a plus.
  • Experience in programming is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinker, problem-solving skills.
  • Adequate math and analytical skills.
  • Team player / ability to work well in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
