Our Maintenance team is looking to hire a Toolmaker to join our growing and looking for a dynamic candidate who likes new challenges and has a driven personality to join us.
The Toolmaker will maintain, repair, and build company tools. Part of a maintenance team responsible for Minth Tennessee International’s physical plant and equipment maintenance and customer’s equipment maintenance.
- Performs tooling and die layouts
- Builds, fits and assembles parts to make or repair
- Precision cutting tools
- Precision forming tools
- Jigs
- Gauges
- Fixtures
- Uses metal cutting, grinding, drilling and welding equipment
- Licensed Industrial Fork Truck Driver
- Certified in Advanced Lockout/Tagout
To be a qualified candidate you must meet the following:
- A college degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Must have mechanical abilities
- Minimum of four years maintenance experience
- Able to pass the written Industrial Fork Truck Driver Test
- Able to pass Advanced Lock-out / Tag-out Training
Key to being successful in this role:
- Must be able to read & write, have basic math skills, and understand and follow written procedures
- Maintain and follow all training requirements
- Understand and follow all quality, safety and environmental processes and procedures
- Follow all recycling programs
- Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Use required safety equipment
