We are seeking a responsible individual to ensure parts are painted according to customer specifications while adhering to all quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat various parts as required.
  • Conduct necessary quality checks, including first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Load parts onto the line to optimize line capacity.
  • Adjust hanging patterns as needed.
  • Attach color tags for paint color changes.
  • Apply plugs/tape to parts as necessary.
  • Sand and correct parts as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the department.
  • Troubleshoot issues as required.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Execute specific tasks outlined in BP20-40-F31.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in powder coating and mixing.
  • At least 2 years of experience with painting on a conveyor system line.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with paint processes involving wash stages.
  • Basic understanding of reading part blueprints and maintaining paint line functionality.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and managing product inventory.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to interpret blueprints (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree or technical certifications preferred, or 4+ years of powder coating experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
