Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for someone to be responsible for leading the testing and implementation of software development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, and debugging, as well as managing timelines and producing technical documentation of various CRM applications including Salesforce. Your focus will be various software systems including Salesforce development and integration with a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Translate functional requirements into technical requirements

  • Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code

  • Ensure the best possible quality of the application

  • Take ownership of project work and be able to communicate complex information effectively to people who don’t have computer knowledge as well as to answer questions as they arise, giving clear instructions.

  • Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements

  • Development experience with Salesforce such as Apex, Visualforce as well as Lightning apps is a plus

  • Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports.

  • Ability to communicate and provide consultation on software systems

  • Work to business timelines and schedules, often working on multiple projects while ensuring the work produced meets best practices

  • Salesforce certification, such as the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II accreditation is a plus.

Applicants should have experience working with programming languages and be able to provide evidence of having worked in a computer-based role—in some cases, having a strong skill set and extensive work experience can replace formal education.
