A-Line Staffing is now hiring Product Development Engineer in Franklin Lakes, NJ. The Product Development Engineer would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Product Development Engineer Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $30 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Product Development Engineer Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is onsite 5 days a week, first shift 8:30am-5pm

Product Development Engineer Responsibilities

  • 1. Independently plans and performs experiments that support new product or technology feasibility testing.
  • 2. Critically analyzes data generated from experiments. Synthesizes resulting evaluations of product and technology feasibility, as well as ideas and concepts and records them in an R&D Notebook.
  • 3. Reports results of experiments to R&D management and peers. Advises of the product development implications arising from the results and when necessary, prepares technical reports.
  • 4. Supports the IDS intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique and patentable ideas that result from experimentations and concept generation.
  • 5. Maintains scientific equipment as necessary to support scientific and technical objectives as well as regulatory and governance requirements.
  • 6. Maintains good laboratory practices (GLP) consistent with IDS product development objectives and regulatory guidelines.
  • 7. Interfaces with engineering to support experimental designs and performs testing of product produced experimentally as required.
  • 8. Performs other duties as required.

Product Development Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelors in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
  • Minimum 1-5+ years direct laboratory experience
  • Instron experience is preferred but will train.
  • College Graduate mechanical or biomedical engineering is preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
