We are looking to expand our team with a driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative who will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our client base.

Job Summary:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and closing sales. You will be representing our concrete services, meeting with contractors, developers, homeowners, and businesses to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions. This is a field-based position that requires self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Meet with potential clients, present our concrete services, and understand their project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Track and report on sales activities and progress using a CRM or similar system.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by closing deals and securing new contracts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
  • Collaborate with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an outside sales representative or similar sales role, preferably in the construction or concrete industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within the Columbia, TN area and surrounding regions to meet clients.
  • Ability to understand construction drawings, project scopes, and pricing models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
