Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $74,000 to $80,000

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals delivering a Therapeutic Activities Program with an Occupational Therapy component in an acute inpatient mental health setting
  • Ensure programming complies with regulatory standards, including CMS and Joint Commission requirements
  • Conduct Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance safety and program quality
  • Participate in hospital-wide committees, such as Seclusion & Restraint Oversight and Risk Management, to promote effective and safe care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate patient care programs.
  • Provide direct care through individual and group therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in all aspects of care

Requirements

  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
  • Mental Health OTR or Psychiatric OTR preferred
  • Strong interest in working with individuals with mental health conditions, embracing person-centered care models (e.g., trauma-informed care, recovery model)
  • Experience in the mental health field required
  • Managerial experience preferred
